The Baby Boom Continues...

ULR12 son of Ulrica, a week old, flaps his ears to cool off on the heat of the plain. Poppy and her 2011 daughter, born in December, cool off together IPI11, daughter of Ipii, fearlessly approaches the Land Rover. The new generation of EA males go head to head - sons of Eclipse (L) and Eluai (R). Eliot has a new daughter, who is getting to grips with her trunk. Alison keeps her new son firmly in the shade.

Here are some of my favourite images of our newest arrivals in Amboseli. The calves are doing well and we're nowhere near the end of the births yet.

Thank you for these so encouraging photos

The calves have a beautiful and healthy aspect. I am made happy by much that you say that the baby boom will continue. It is a great news. I wait that the baby boom is late very much in coming to his end, but when it does it, I would like to know how many calves have born, which was the first female in giving birth...

Once again, thank you for the photos and for the great work that you realize in Amboseli.

Thank you for the information
